to cheap to buy another web domain name for my family history information
- These stories have been placed on
this web page so that other family members will have the opportunity to learn about the
lives of their ancestors. If you wish to contribute any stories or other information then
please send the information to my email address shown at the bottom of this page.
- Note: In one family story my Grandmother's sister, Emma
Noakes Long, made a reference that the information came from notes that her father (my
Great Grandfather David Patten Noakes) wrote in his journal. I often ask myself,
"Does his journal still exist?" And if it does exist I wonder, "Who
has the journal and how can I get a copy?" Perhaps someday my Great
Grandfather's journal will be posted on the internet.
